THRISSUR: The Thrissur District Consumer Dispute Reddressal Forum has chalked out a programme to dispose 2,000 cases within a year.
According to a release received here from forum president P.N. Bhaskaran Thampan and senior member M.K. Abdulla Sona, nearly 4,000 cases are pending before the forum.
Nearly 10 new cases are being filed everyday. The forum could dispose 67 cases in June alone. Apart from this, temporary orders like stays and injunction were being given in four cases on an average daily, the release said.
